INDONESIA: LOT of 18 pre-modern coins, containing several interesting and unpublished examples, mostly from Islamic sultanates, identified with Zeno numbers, including Bantam (3 pitis: one cf. Millies-115 in Arabic script picis banten sanah 1145, tentative date reading, not on Zeno; Pangeran Ratou with hexagonal hole, cf. Zeno-219138; and al-Sultan Abu Ma'ali, cf. 275790), Batubara (AH1158, cf. 278792), Bone (Sultan Muhi al-Din/Mahyudin AH1127, cf. 329988), Indragiri (pitis with pentagonal hole, faint crack, cf. 105016), Jambi (cf. 195611), Macassar (uncertain ruler, reverse masruf rasas hadha al-balad), Siak (2 pitis, one with a hexagonal hole cf. 307736, the other cf. 310028), plus 2 pre-Islamic Jambi Lion coins (one copper, one billon), 3 pitis imitations of Chinese cash, a Bangka Island Chinese tin jokoh, a terracotta token, plus a brass gobog (possible modern imitation); average circulated grades for most, a few nicer, all identified on accompanying holders; retail value $400, lot of 18 pieces.
