MALUKA: AE duit, 1813/AH1228, Cr-13, Prid-5, duit masruf in Jawi script within shield // 1813 above 1228 in Jawi script within shield, light discoloration, PCGS graded VF details. Maluka was a private estate in southern Borneo founded by the Englishman Alexander Hare in 1812, who acquired it through a grant from the sultan of Banjarmasin. It struck coins at a local mint in 1812 and 1813. The estate ceased to exist when the area was repossessed by the Dutch in 1818.
