IRAN: Ahmad III, 1703-1730, AR abbasi (4.61g), Tabriz, AH1115 (accession year), A-2707, Ottoman occupation, mount removed, VF. The Ottoman Turkish occuation of Tabriz lasted from 1725-1729 during the Ottoman-Persian War of 1722-1727. Peace came in October 1727 with the Treaty of Hamadan.
