QAJAR: Fath 'Ali Shah, 1797-1834, LOT of 10 silver coins, includes A-2883, 1/8 riyal, Isfahan AH1222 (VF, mount removed), A-A2893, 1/2 qiran, Shiraz 1239 (F-VF, mount removed), A-2895, 1/2 qiran, Isfahan 1246 (F-VF); AR riyal, types A-2880 & 2886, mints of Yazd, Rasht, Kirmanshahan, Kashan, and 'Arz-i Aqdas (=Mashhad) (average Fine, some with traces of mount), and 19th century silver jeweler's imitations, based on the the toman of Yazd (ND, but based on the commn AH1233 type), one with a Fath Ali Shah obverse, the other with a Safavid reverse as the obverse (both VF); retail value $300, lot of 10 pieces.
