Bargello III, cf. 1407, 41mm cast bronze renaissance medal from the School of Padua, unknown master, but of the style of Giuseppe Arcimbaldo, draped bust left with short hair, nose in the form of a frog, and chin in the form of a dolphin-like fish // bust left, whose head and hair consist of erect penises, old casting, plain edge, crude VF, ex Kolb Collection (Augsburg). Giuseppe Arcimboldo, 1527-1593, was a Milanese artist of allegorical paintings, which often show heads of realistically depicted fruits and vegetables, plants, fish, books or guns.
