ITALY: Vittorio Emanuele III, 1900-1946, gilt bronze 100 lire, 1903-R, KM-Pn6, Pag-139, Pattern Matte Proof issue struck at the Rome mint, an amazing quality example with soft satin luster! NGC graded Proof 67. Produced in Milan by Johnson Inc. With portrait of the king facing right, and on reverse two female standing figures: at left, with helmet and tunic, is the goddess Minerva holding a long stick in her right hand; at right is Agriculture with a sheaf of wheat in her right hand and an olive branch in her left. To the left of the figures are the crowned Savoy Coat of arms within the Collare dell'Annunziata.
