Giuseppe Ferraris was an Italian medallist and coin engraver of Turin. His earliest medal is dated 1828. Under Charles Albert, King of Sardinia, he was Chief Engraver of the coins at the Mint of Turin, a post which he retained under Victor Emmanuel II, after the latter's proclamation as King of Italy, and which he still held in 1869.
