JAPAN: Keio, 1865-1868, AE 25 mon (6.53g), H-7.5, type known as a Mito Daikoku-sen (Mito Daikoku Coin) with Daikoku, the God of Wealth on reverse, cast in bronze, a lovely example with JNDA Certificate 48973, EF, RRR. Legend translates as "Longevity as great as the South Mountain." These coins were first issued in 1864 by the Morioka-han in Mutsu Province (present day Iwate-ken).
