JAPAN: Showa, 1926-1989, bronzed aluminum medal (32.0g), year 3 (1928), Zeno-207281, 61mm, central characters "Merit Award" in center, two birds on either side, caduceus above // "Enthronement Commemorative Tokyo Exposition for Promotion of Domestic Production" above, "Sponsored (Organized) by the Tokyo Chamber of Commerce and Industry" below, tree at center with varioius items symbolizing domestic production, date below, most of the plating intact with only a few scrapes on the edge, a very interesting light-weight medal with an elaborate design, Unc. The medal is very lightweight, perhaps gilt aluminum. There are a few scratches on the edge where someone likely was testing to see if the medal was plated.
