The Tokyo Taisho Exhibition was held from March 20 to July 31, 1914 in Ueno Park, Tokyo. The level that Japanese industrial technology had reached just prior to the outbreak of the First World War is reflected in the survey report of the industrial machinery products displayed, which noted that 5,717 machines were shown at the exposition.
