JODHPUR: PALI:LOT of 22 silver bijayshahi rupees in the name of Shah Alam II, type Lingen-P.03.02 with spear within the word shah (6 pcs, average VF to EF), and type P.03.03 with sword above shah (14 pcs, average nice VF, a few EF), and in the name of Muhammad Akbar II, type P.04.01 (both VF); retail value $650, lot of 22 pieces, ex Paul Stevens Collection. The Pali issue of these bijayshahi rupees bears the mint name "dar al-mansur jodhpur", distinguished by symbols & frozen regnal year 45 (often off flan), presumably struck long after the death of Shah Alam II in 1806 until 1858.
