JULANDID: Abu'l-Muttalib Ridwan b. Ja'far, 949-960, AR dirham (1.77g), uncertain mint, AH345, A-1586M, ruler cited only as Abu'l-Muttalib, clear date and mint, porous surfaces (probably from having been overcleaned), VF, RRR. The mint name begins with "d.r/z" or "k.r/z" followed by 2 more letters, the last of which is almost certainly soft "h", but the town name has never been identified. The mint should be either on the Iranian side of the Persian Gulf near the town of Huzu (opposite Kish Island) or on the Arabian side of the Gulf.
