KARAULI: COLLECTION of 44 silver rupees, representing all eight types of Karauli rupees: KM-16: (Shah Alam II) AH119x/23, year 24, year 29, yesr 32, year 33, year 39, year 40, year 43, and year 45; KM-26: (Muhammad Akbar II) year 2, year 3, year 5, AH1227/6, 1228/7, 1228/8, 1230/9, 1231/10, 1232/11, 1233/14, 1233/15, 1239/17, 1240/19, 1244/21, 1254/23 (sic), and 1256/26; KM-31: (Bahadur II) year one, year 6, year 9, 1265/11, and year 58 (sic, 2 pcs); KM-33: (as last, but Nagari M added for Madan Pal) year 13 (2 vars), and year 15; KM-44.1: (Queen Victoria) 1859/9; KM-44.2: (Victoria) 1852/10, 1852/11, 1852/12, 1852/13, and one 185x/9 which could be either KM-44.1 or 44.2; KM-56: (Victoria) 1882/7, and 1884/8; and KM-70: (Victoria) 1895/10, and 1897/11; nearly all VF or better, some EF, lovely group that cannot easily be assembled; retail value $1450, lot of 44 pieces.
