KHWARIZMSHAH: Mangubarni, 1220-1231, AE jital (3.20g), Sabâghân, ND, A-C1751, Zeno-226304 (same dies, with further information), the style is identical to Mangubarni's jital of the Tulak mint, located only about 20 miles south of Sabaghan (spelled Sabâkhâna on the coins), VF. Zeno 226304 was sold in our Auction 35, lot 1281, misattributed to the Great Mongols, as the key element "jalâl" was off flan, but it is 100% clear on this piece, as is enough of the name "mangubarni", whose title was "jalal al-dunya wa'l-din".
