ANCIENT INDIA: KUSHAN: Kipunada, ca. 335-350, debased AV dinar (7.33g), Mitch-3589, king standing left, holding trident and sacrificing over altar, BaSaTa below arm and KiPuNaDa to right // Ardoksho enthroned facing, holding garland and cornucopiae; decent strike with some light original adhesions, bold VF-XF. These debased dinars probably contain less than 20% gold, and were likely struck during the contemporary period of rivalry between the last of the Kushans and rise of the Kidarites.
