SELANGOR: Ibrahim Shah, 1770-1826, tin pitis (14.96g), SS-1, variety B with heavier weight and epithet in three lines, Jawi legends baginda sultan ibrahim shah ("His Highness Ibrahim Shah") // negeri sulangor darul ... ("State of Selangor, Abode of ..."), VF Singh gives the word following darul as al-ihsan ("sincerity"), which is the official epithet of Selangor. However, this does not appear to be the correct reading on all the examples we have encountered. It is possible that this word is illegible as a result of careless engraving.
