MAR'ASHID: Anonymous, fl. 1391-1392, AR 1/2 tanka (3.51g), Madinat Qumm, AH(796), A-P2347, Dauwe 163.Ab, struck from the same dies as #334790 but on smaller and thinner planchet; some very light hornsilver; unique, the only known half tanka of this series, crude VF, RRR, ex Roland Dauwe Collection. Attribution to the Mar'ashids of Mazandaran is very likely. The coins were probably struck outside Astarabad, and cite Qumm to confirm their Shi'ite branch of Islam.
