MEDIEVAL HINDU INDIA: Unknown issuer, ca. 12th/15th century, AV heavy fanam (0.51g), floral design on both sides, perhaps imitating the reverse of the elephant pagoda and fanam of Western Ganga, but found together with a group of 12th/13th century Orissa fanams, mount removed, VF-XF, ex Syed Rabbi Collection. Possibly a later jeweler's piece, perhaps imitation the Western Ganga fanam when it was still incorrectly assigned to Eastern Ganga near Orissa!
