MEXICO: Felipe V, 1700-1746, AV 2 escudos, 1742-Mo, KM-124, Calicó-368, assayer MF, only one certified by NGC (April 2016), NGC graded VF35. The grandson of Maria Theresa, Philip V was the first of the Bourbon kings of Spain. He briefly abdicated in 1724, in favor of his son Louis. When Louis I died a few months later of smallpox, Philip retook the throne, as his younger son, who would become Ferdinand VI, wasn't yet of age. He ruled until he died in Madrid in 1746.
