MUGHAL: Babur, in India, 1526-1530, AE ½ dam (9.13g), Agra, AH936, Mitch-3004, ur-Rahman-102, Wright/Calcutta-7, lovely design, used only at Agra in AH936, Very Fine, RR. Agra was capture by Babur's army in late June 1529 (Shawwal AH935), but the first Mughal coins struck at Agra are dated AH936, both the silver coins in Babur's and the anonymous copper coins. This design was briefly used, but latetr in AH936 the common design replaced it (ur-Rahman-103).
