MUGHAL: Jahangir, 1605-1628, AE heavy dam rawani (24.87g), Burhanpur, date unclear, KM-126.10-var, Zeno, month pf Bahman; the rawani (ravani) dam was introduced at Ahmedabad (Ahmadabad) in AH1016 at a heavy weight of about 24.6g, then reduced to the normal dam weight of about 20.4g in about AH1020. A heavy rawani is also known from Agra 1014 and this piece is the first reported heavy rawani dam from Burhanpur, probably unique, VF, RRR. Burhanpur also struck normal weight rawani dams.
