NEPAL: Prithvi Bir Bikram, 1881-1911, AE 1/4 mohar, SE1833 (1911), KM-644, a superb prooflike example! PCGS graded MS65. Very likely part of a presentation specimen set. An unknown number of presentation sets were issued in 1907 and 1911 and most sets today are found in European collections. From December 18-28, 1911, King George V took part in a hunt in the Terai region of the Kingdom of Nepal as part of an expedition organized by the Prime Minister of Nepal, Chandra Shumsher Jang Bahadur Rana after the Delhi Durbar. These sets were reportedly distributed during the King's visit to Nepal.
