NETHERLANDS: Dutch Republic, AR stuiver, Holland, 1739, KM-91, a pleasant lustrous mint state example, PCGS graded MS61, ex Dr. Robert A. Rosenfeld Collection. Referred to as a "bezemstuiver". The name is a compound of bezem (broom) and stuiver (a small value silver coin). Named after the resemblance that the base of the bundle of arrows, depicted on the coin, bears to a broom.
