Begeer, KOLONIALE TENTOONSTELLING around royal Javanese bride, sitting in a temple gate, decorated with auspicious symbols including stylized tiger's head and elephant seals, SEMARANG in exergue // blank space for inscription in a field surrounded by a border of Hindu ornaments and jewels, taken from the statues of the Tjandi Djago plateau, below which are the crowned arms of Semarang with two lions as shield holders, SEMARANG again below, with the original box of issue, UNC The Colonial Exhibition (Koloniale Tentoonstelling), took place in Semarang, Dutch East Indies from August 13 through November 15, 1914.
