NORTHERN ZHOU: Anonymous, 557-581, AE cash (3.7g), H-13.32, yong tong wan guo ("everlasting circulation in ten thousand kingdoms") in archaic script, graded 82 by Huaxia Grading Company, VF. This piece was issued in 579 AD by Emperor Xuan. Its nominal weight was 12 zhu, and the coin was meant to be equivalent to ten wu xing coins and written in the Yu Zhu (jade chopstick) style of calligraphy which is greatly admired.
