PAHANG: Muhammad Shah, 1470-1475, tin pitis (1.69g), SS-—, obverse text sultan / muhammad shah, little legible on the reverse, crude strike (as always for this series), Fine, RRR. According to the consignor "tin pitis from Pahang are all extremely rare, only systemically documented for the past 2-3 years. A nice addition to any serious, advanced collection of Malay States coinage. " Also, virtually all known examples are primitively struck, and often poorly preserved.
