PATIALA: Amar Singh, 1765-1781, AV mohur (10.73g), "Sahrind", ND, Cr-"11", in the name of the Durrani sultan Ahmad Shah, superb strike, NGC graded MS63, RR. The ruler's mark is the 6-dot rosette to the left of the reverse, together with the flower below the "S" of "jalus". Current research has assigned this type to the following ruler, Sahib Singh (1781-1813), as the first ruler to adopt the flower below the "S" on the reverse. Proper issues of Amar Singh bear a group of 3 or 4 dots instead of the flower below the "S".
