PRUSSIA: Friedrich III, 1888, AV 10 mark, 1888-A, KM-514, J-247, a superb lustrous example! PCGS graded MS65, ex Joe Sedillot Collection. Frederich III (1831-1888) was German Emperor and King of Prussia for only 99 days between March and June 1888, during the Year of the Three Emperors. Frederick was suffering from cancer of the larynx when he died, aged fifty-six, following unsuccessful medical treatments for his condition.
