QAJAR: Agha Muhammad Khan, 1779-1797, AR light rupi (8.90g), "Isfahan", AH1206, A-2845, standard legends, but actually an eastern imitation, struck probably in Sind during the early 1800s; very rare with clearly legible date, bold VF, RR. Even though the mint name on this type is always clearly engraved Isfahan, the type is never found in Iran, mostly in eastern parts of Afghanistan or the southern half of Pakistan.
