QING: Qi Xiang, 1861, AE cash (7.13g), Board of Works mint, Peking, H-22.1122, Fine, RRR, ex Jiùjinshan Collection. First nian hao (reign title) of Tong Zhi. Very few coins minted with this reign title were produced and none were officially put into circulation. Likely a contemporary or later Qing Dynasty issue as the fabric and metal are consistent with the period.
