QING: Xian Feng, 1851-1861, AE 10 cash (20.23g), Dihwa Mint, Xinjiang Province, H-22.1106, large-size type, cast 1857-61, Very Good, ex Shèngbidébao Collection. In March 1857, it was decided to increase the weight of the value eight and value ten coins, but in the same year production of the value eight was stopped. In April 1861 casting ceased on all high denomination coins. Judging by the comparative rarity of the large-size value ten coins, production had been very limited.
