QING: Xian Feng, 1851-1861, AE 500 cash (58.8g), Board of Revenue Mint, Beijing, H-22.713, North Branch Mint, fou bao type with protruding head on Manchu boo, cast only from March through August 1854, pirate foundry issue, graded 82 by GBCA Grading Company, VF-XF. This is the first example of this rare branch mint type we have encountered and no others have appeared for sale on the major auction platforms.
