'Umar on the obverse, the famous Mamluk ruler al-Malik al-Zahir Rukn al-Din [Baybars] on the reverse, with the mint formula duriba bi-makka above the reverse, partial weakness, the middle grade example of the only 3 known examples of this type (all cited on Zeno), Fine. Of great historical importance, as it confirms the bi-partisan arrangemenyt between Baybars and Yusuf b. 'Umar for maintenance of the holy city of Makka.
