ROMAN EMPIRE: LOT of 55 late bronzes, mostly AE3's and AE4's with a few larger, including Magnentius (3 pcs), Procopius (Fine+), Julian II (4, including an AE27 bull type, F-VF, and an EF votive type with glossy black patina), Valentinian I, Gratian (2), Valentinian II, Magnus Maximus (5, one VF, the others Fine), Theodosius I (3, including a VF+ AE2 emperor in galley type with nice patina), Aelia Flaccilla (2), Arcadius (6), Aelia Eudoxia, Honorius, Theodosius II, Leo (RIC-657 of Cherson Mint, Fine with legible name), and Zeno (monogram RIC-961/963, VF); average F-VF, quite a few nice VF with attractive patina, nearly all attributed on accompanying holders; plus a group of 22 mostly worn and unattributed small bronzes of low value; retail value $750, lot of 55 pieces.
