ROMAN EMPIRE: LOT of 66 coins, including Nero, Trajan, Hadrian (3, incl. two AR denarii), Antoninus Pius (AE as with elephant reverse, corrosion removed), Marcus Aurelius, Faustina II, Septimius Severus (4 AR denarii, a couple nice VF), Elagabalus, Severus Alexander (2), Maximinus I, Gordian III (7 AR antoniniani), Trajan Decius (AE sestertius Pannoniae), and 37 pieces from various rulers from the mid-3rd to late 4th century (mostly small bronzes), as well as 5 later Byzantine bronzes; average circulated conditions for most, some nicer, nearly all attributed on accompanying flips; retail value $900, lot of 66 pieces.
