Ramsden, H. A., Model-Insect Money of Ancient China, Jun Kobayagawa Co., Yokohama, Japan. 1914 (Taisho year 3), original copy, 22 pages, a history, discussion, and examination of many types of Cicada (Wa Wa) money from ancient China. Includes one type that he calls Caterpillar money and two others that seem to be modeled after a duck which is not even an insect, text in English, ex. H. F. Bowker Numismatic Library. Howard Franklin Bowker (1889-1970) was a numismatist and philatelist, collecting and specializing in Chinese coins, stamps and banknotes. He created the first bibliography of Western language publications on East Asian numismatics.
