SASANIAN KINGDOM: Yazdigerd III, 632-651, AR drachm (4.12g), BN (perhaps Bamm), year 12, G-235, Tyler-Smith—, date SYACSY for "33", thus posthumous issue (Yazdigerd killed during his 20th regnal year), superb strike, choice About Unc, RR.

Almost certainly struck after the Arab conquest of Kirman in the late 640s, with the date either YE33 (AD664) or, more likely, AH33 (653/654), but without either ja'iz or bism Allah in ObQ2.
We sold a drachm of Yazdigerd II, BN mint, year 32 (also unlisted by Tyler-Smith), in our Auction 18, Lot 71, EF condition, for $240.

UPDATE: These coins are struck under Yazdgard in Kirman. The D is almost lying on its back giving the impression of of syh (30) instead of a deh (10). The 12 is written oddly as "dawanz-deh" similar to panz-deh, or even the rare shanz-deh.
