This type is described in the literature as a 1/6 kuranttaler (Kahnt-622), as a medal (Kahnt-622, H-CZ-2754), and as a silver strike to the coronation gold double ducat (Coll. Merseburger-1679), and Walter Haupt (p. 149) describes this piece as a 1/8 thaler.
