SELJUQ OF RUM: Mas'ud II, 1302-1308, AR dirham (2.27g), Bafa, AH702, A-1236, Izm-1512, usual weakness, fully clear mint and date weak but quite clear, crude VF, RR. Bafa or Bafi is not Bafra in the region of the Black Sea, but the coins are stylistically the same as issues of Milas and Sarakavaki, in far western Turkey. Besides, Mas'ud II during his second reign only controled a small area not far from the Aegean Sea, the rest of Anatolia by then under the control of the Ilkhan ruler Ghazan Mahmud.
