SHANGHAI: phonograph token, ND (ca. 1930's), Pan Junxiang--, TC--, radiating patterns on both sides, overstruck on a 10 cents trade token for E. T. "Jack" Riley's 4th Marine Club, used in one specific phonograph player, XF. According to the consignor, there are about 15-20 of these overstruck tokens known, all found inside the money box of a single phonograph player. About half of them were overstruck on tokens of the 4th Marine Club, with the rest from various other establishments.
