SIKH EMPIRE: AE falus (10.61g), Peshawar, ND, KM-93.2, Herrli-—, mint name in Persian / 4-leaf flower surrounded by a fancy floral border, overstruck on older type (as always for this type), VF, RR. KM has assigned this type to the Sikh Empire, KM-93.2, Zeno lists it as Durrani (Z-20557). Is there any reason why attribution to the Sikhs might be correct? Or is it just another of the complex series of Durrani issues? (See also Lot 753 for Peshawar AH1249 with similar obverse.).
