SIKH EMPIRE: AR rupee (11.07g), Kashmir, VS1881, KM-46.7 var, Herrli-—, with the word AKAL sbove the word guru in the reverse center, unpublished and probably unique, PCGS graded XF45, RRR, ex Jess A. Yockers Collection. The word "akal" means "timeless" and is normal on the reverse of almost all silver and gold coins of Amritsar, usually together with "takht", meaning "the throne of the timeless one".
