SIND: Ranaditya, ca. 450-475, debased AV dinar (6.88g), Fishman & Todd 2018, fig.4.10; Senior-3, crowned bust right, solid circle within dotted circle to right // fire altar, Brahmi legend ranaditya satya around; bold strike, VF, ex Wilfried Pieper Collection. The post-Hunnic debased gold dinars of Indo-Sasanian style were first published by Senior in 1996. The Brahmi inscriptions carry a Hindu name meaning "true Ranaditya". Ranaditya is composed of Rana (battlefield) and Aditya (sun god).
