SINGAPORE: 2 stuiver (1.63g), "1786", SS-SS17, imitating Utrecht silver 2 stuiver dated 1786 but with coat of arms of Holland and TRAIFCTUM with "F" instead of "E", strong VF. These merchant tokens were struck in Birmingham England in debased silver or German silver from 1834-1836 and introduced by Singaporean merchants. They circulated for nearly 10 years before being suppressed in 1844.
