The MEC translation of the legends: Obverse: "the emir of the Catholics Alfonso ben Sancho", mint & date around. Reverse: "the imam of the Church of the Messiah is the Roman Pope", and around, "in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, God is One. He that believeth in Him and is baptized shall be saved"; cross above and ALF below.
