STATE OF QI: Fu Chang, 1130-1137, AE 3 cash (11.63g), H-18.80, with fu chang zhong bao legend, orthodox script, VF. The Jin created the Da Qi ("Great Qi") State in their second attempt to create a puppet state in northern China nominally ruled by Liu Yu of Han Chinese descent, but obligated to obey the orders of the Jurchen generals. In late 1137, the Jin reduced Liu Yu's title to that of a prince and abolished the State of Qi after a failed invasion of the Song territories. The Jin and Song then renewed the negotiations towards peace.
