Cr-11, Friedrich-1413, initials IBH, 50th Year of Reign, armored bust right // flaming altar, nice original tone, superb strike, prooflike fields, tied for finest certified with one other coin at NGC, a spectacular example, NGC graded MS64, RRR. Christian Ernst was the Count of Stolberg-Wernigerode and a member of the House of Stolberg. He inherited the County of Wernigerode in the Harz Mountains upon his father's death in 1710 under the Regency of his mother. Though he ruled the County through 1771, he was forced to recognize the sovereignty of Brandenburg-Prussia over the County of Wernigerode in 1714.
