Zeno-275615, sultan / zain al-'abidin / mu'azzam shah // masruf / batu bahar / sanat 1158, bold inscriptions, one of the finest examples of this type, EF, RR. This is one of the first examples of coins from the small sultanate of Batubara (also called Lima Laras, located on the east coast of North Sumatra) to appear in a Western auction. Few written records exist on the history of this sultanate prior to the 19th century.
