SUTAYIDS: Undetermined ruler, fl. 1349-1350, AV dinar (3.75g), Irbil, AH750, A-2319G, unpublished and probably unique, Extremely Fine, RRRR. The Sutayids were a minor branch of the Uyrat Mongols who came to Iraq during the Ilkhan period, founding their briefly surviving dynasty in northern Iraq after the death of Abu Sa'id in AH736. Their capital was at Irbil, now in the Kurdistan region of northern Iraq. Silver coins were minted at Irbil, also at al-Mawsil (Mosul), 'Aqar and Sinjar. They surrendered to the Jalayrids shortly after AH750.The first ruler of the Sutayids, Ibrahimshah, died or was expelled in AH748. I have been unable to find a reference to his successor.
