MICHAUX below // FÖDD 3 MAJ 1826 / KONUNG 8 JULI 1859 / DÖD 18 SEPTEMBER 1872, star above, partial wreath below, beaded border either side, a wonderful specimen quality example! Specimen 64. The medal was engraved by Rémi Michaux in Brussels and minted for H. Selling, a coin dealer in Gothenburg. Mr. Selling later kept the dies for the medal.
